About Codekitto

Codekitto is a free online toolkit for developers: format and validate JSON, test regular expressions, generate strong passwords and test data (Brazilian CPF and CNPJ, fake people, test credit card numbers), with more tools added every week.

Why everything runs in your browser

Every Codekitto tool works inside your browser. When you paste JSON, a regex or a code snippet, it is processed right there and is never sent to a server. That gives you three things:

• Privacy: API responses, config files and work tokens stay on your computer.
• Speed: no waiting for uploads or server responses.
• Offline use: once the page has loaded, most tools keep working without an internet connection.

Test data

The ID generators (Brazilian CPF and CNPJ, fake people and test credit card numbers) create numbers that pass the checksum, but are fictitious. They are meant only for testing software, never for impersonating a person or company.

The kitten

Codekitto's mascot is a coding kitten drawn for this site. The name blends "code kit" and "kitty".

How the site pays for itself

The tools are free and need no account. The site is supported by ads shown on its pages. Ads never have access to what you paste into the tools.
